Have you felt it… the realm behind the known wor

Have you felt it… the realm behind the known world?

It whispers to us when we slip into flow state, it pours out of the artist’s paint brush, the poet’s pen. It sits between the trees, drifts under the current. And we all visit it night after night in our Dreams. The Imaginal World.

It’s not a place of escapism but of deep sustenance. The truths are clearer there though its language is that of the mystery.

Learning to speak that language bears many fruits in an orchard which ever expands in the imaginal field where we all meet.

The more I touch into this realm… the more I wonder, which world is the real one?

If you long to strengthen your relationship to the imaginal and all the wisdom it holds then know that your Dreams are waiting for you to do just that. They are a portal to the mystical, the magical and the sacred.

To mark this horrendous threshold. A year of devastation.

This past year changed me. And I hope I hope I hope, it changed the world. For the better.

But for now, the chaos, the brutality perpetuates. It spills over. It murders.

Join me to honour this year past… and to honour what we will continue to turn towards. The world that is coming. A world where all beings are free.

Together, we will build an altar in each of our spaces. An altar to lay our prayers on, to offer our grief to, to sit in devastation and hope at. And also… to see what comes through from the altar. An altar to nourish us and to turn towards again and again and again.

Dear friends.

On October 7 I will hold an online vigil for Palestine.
We will honour all that has been lost, shaken, destroyed in the past year.

There will be poems, reverence and silence. We will build an altar in each of our spaces facing towards Palestine. So that we may continue turning towards, offering our devotion and laying our prayers for a world where everyone and everything is free.

On the mountain I was slower. A dustiness seeped i $On the mountain I was slower. A dustiness seeped into me as I held the skull, fractures sewn into sutures. Biro in the border of a textbook, a passing of time. The goat bells clang in the pockets between my bones. That morning, I touched the rock’s surface before the day did. Slipped into the fissure in the valley and back out again before the sun deemed to peak inside its cracks. The mountain watched me as I lay naked drunk on the first rays of morning and the last whisper of the summer’s lavender, thyme and rue. Descending, I take something of the mountain with me. A different tone of time, still slow as I shift gears in the moss filled hills of home. In return, I left something of me there too. I hope the mountain will keep it. There are those who perpetuate violence and those who bear the brunt of the brutality.

We will all have to heal from the horror for centuries.
As we are still healing from the witch hunts.

Your grief, rage and love are medicine for these times. May they carry us towards the millennia of healing that is to come.

And end the brutality for good.
